Fans of Tamil Cinema of the '80s and '90s, especially those who grew up on some of Kamal Haasan's comic classics, will rue June 10, 2019. For Crazy Mohan, popular actor, playwright, screenwright and dialogue-writer, has passed away on this date. He was 67. Crazy Mohan breathed his last in a hospital in Chennai, after he was admitted there following a severe heart attack. Crazy Mohan has scripted so many popular comic entertainers in the '80s and the '90s, many of them starring Indian cinema legend, Kamal Haasan. Some of his famous works in Tamil Cinema are  Sathi Leelavathi, Kaathala Kaathala, Michael Madana Kama Rajan, Apoorva Sagodharargal, Indian, Avvai Shanmughi, Thenali, Panchathanthiram and Vasool Raja MBBS. All of these movies have turned out to be huge hits at the box office.

Even on personal terms, Kamal Haasan has been close to crazy Mohan and had penned a beautiful note for his dear friend.

Even other Tamil celebs like Siddharth, Khusbu Sundar, director Venkat Prabhu, Radikaa Sarathkumar et al have tweeted about him remembering his legacy and mourning his loss.

Crazy Mohan has also acted in films like Arunachalam, Pammal K. Sambandam, Vasool Raja MBBS and Kalyana Samayal Saadham. He was also a part of the Tamil version of SS Rajamouli's fantasy comedy, Naan Ee. May his soul rest in peace!
