Rajinikanth's Kaala might not be one of his highly promoted films but it is definitely a reason for fans to celebrate. Thalaiva films are known to have a mass appeal and the actor enjoys stardom like no other celebrity in the country. In fact, companies have even given employees a holiday to go watch Kaala. The actor might not be promoting the movie like he does with all his other films, but fans are ensuring that they flood the internet with posts about the movie. But unlike his other films, where has played a don or a leader, this one is more appealing.

This one has Thalaiva locking horns with Nana Patekar. Major portion of the film has been shot in Dharavi, Mumbai since the film is based on a slum lord from Dharavi. The dialogues and even songs from the film have increased excitement for the movie. But when it comes to a Thalaiva film, there is no other reason than Rajinikanth to go watch the movie. The film has been banned in Karnataka due to the Cauvery row but fans are still keeping the hype up on social media urging everyone else to watch the movie. It will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on 7th June 2018.

Here are 5 reasons why you must definitely be excited about Kaala.

Rajinikanth, Rajinikanth and Rajinikanth

Thalaiva is one of the most important reasons to watch the film and all fans will agree with me on this. Be it Baasha or Kabali, Thalaiva has always managed to impress fans with roles like these that common people can relate with.

Rajinikanth and Nana Patekar's face off!

Both, Thalaiva and Nana, are powerhouses of talent and fandom. Nana plays a politician in this one and the face off that we saw in the trailer between these two left us wanting for more.

Dialogues

Both the actors are known for their range of dialogues and the dialogue delivery. Thalaiva and Nana fighting against each other in the movie is one of the other reasons why this film must definitely be worth it.

PA Ranjith

The director has previously worked with Thalaiva in Kabali and the results were magnificent. This is what the director told Indian Express about working with Thalaiava, "The Rajini I have interacted with personally is much much more intense, humble and emotional. The power of the real Rajini is much stronger than the onscreen Rajini image. I have tried to bring forth that as much as possible."

Parallel to his political career

Ranjith also told the portal, "I see this film as a small step in creating an equal space where we respect and treat each other with humanity. The film will talk the importance of land and the politics around it. It is a film that has politics but isn’t political." Since this film is parallel to his political career, it will definitely give it a boost and we are curious to find out if it affects his political career at all.

The teaser and trailer of the movie already broke the internet. Dhanush will be co-producing the movie. What are your reasons to watch Kaala? Tell us in the comments below and stay tuned with us for more.
