Nayanthara's Kolamaavu Kokila Catches Karan Johar's Attention; Leaves Rajinikanth Impressed
Nayanthara in Kolamavu Kokila leaves Karan Johar and Rajinikanth impressed

Nayanthara plays the lead in last week's big Tamil release, Kolamaavu Kokila. The black comedy is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and has her play a character with grey shades. Kolamaavu Kokila has been winning over the critics and is also becoming a huge hit at the box office. People are loving Nayanthara's drug-peddler act as well as the nuggets of black humour in the film.

The song promo of Kolamaavu Kokila has caught the attention of ace director-producer Karan Johar. He tweeted out to the team of the film, "Tempted more to watch the current blockbuster frm south #KolamaavuKokila after watchin this uber cool Song video Feat. #Nayanthara & @anirudhofficial Shot by RaviVarman&directed by @VigneshShivN.” So if Karan Johar comes out impressed with the film, can we see a remake being made in Hindi? Sure, he can go for Kareena Kapoor Khan or Priyanka Chopra for the role!

And here's the song that impressed Karan Johar -

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is also in awe of the film and has called up the director to congratulate him, as per South columnist Sreedhar Pillai.

Nayanthara has scored another winner for sure, but this time, she has managed to transcend language barriers with her latest film.
