Actress Shruti Haasan, who is known for her bold and frank views, was on a long break from films, while she had been concentrating on her career as a musician for the past few years. The actress, who was last seen in Suriya's Singam 3 and hasn’t signed any Tamil projects for over a year now, has finally signed up for filmmaker SP Jananathan's upcoming flick titled Laabam, alongside Vijay Sethupathi. This will be the first time that Shruti Haasan will be pairing up with Vijay Sethupathi for a film and fans of the actors are quite pumped up to know what's in the store. On Monday, the film went on floors with a customary pooja, which was attended by the film's cast and the crew. Already, the film has created a buzz in the industry and huge expectations are riding on it, to add to this excitement, the team has roped in one of the finest cinematographers in the industry, Ramji, as its cameraman.
