Shahneel Gill Eliminated from ‘The Traitors’ Season 2
Shahneel Gill, sister of Indian cricketer Shubman Gill, saw her run as a Traitor come to an end following an unexpected mistake during round-table questioning. Gill, who was secretly recruited into the Traitors' faction early in the season, fell under heavy scrutiny led by contestant Tanya Puri.
The turning point occurred when Puri asked contestants to recall the exact wording of safety letters distributed to players that morning. While fellow contestant Krystle D'Souza quickly recited her letter, Gill hesitated and admitted she could not remember the details by heart. Her inability to recall the text raised immediate red flags among the group.
Despite defending herself by citing a poor memory, the group voted to banish her. Upon revealing her true identity as a Traitor, Gill expressed gratitude to the cast for the experience, noting she was leaving with strong friendships despite the competitive nature of the game.

Rida Tharana Recruited as the New Traitor
With Gill's exit marking the third Traitor eliminated by the Innocents following Harman Singha and Aaditya "Kullu" Kulshreshth, Krystle D'Souza was left as the sole remaining Traitor. Under the rules of the show, D'Souza was granted the opportunity to recruit a new partner to keep the faction alive. D'Souza strategically chose Rida Tharana, who had previously been one of the most vocal and effective Traitor-hunters in the house.
