The victim, identified as Swaran Singh, was taken to the civil hospital in critical condition and later referred to another facility due to the severity of his injuries. According to the police, the son caught his mother in a compromising position with Singh upon unexpectedly returning home at night. Enraged, he picked up an axe and viciously attacked Singh, who was naked at the time. The mother managed to escape in the dark. After the attack, the son watched Singh suffer for two hours before calling the police and confessing to the crime. He expressed no remorse, stating that his mother had brought shame to their family.
