The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the class 12 compartment exam results 2018 on July 7 at After the senior school exam results, now class 10 supplementary scores are expected to be out soon. No official date has been released on the same yet. However, some media outlets are speculating the class 10 improvement exam results on or before August 18. After the regular board exam marks were announced, CBSE conducted the compartmental exams from July 14 at various exam centres. Students are recommended to keep a tab on the official website of CBSE to stay updated with recent notifications on class 10 supplementary results. CBSE Announces Class 12 Board Compartment Results 2018. 

Any candidate who fails to secure a passing mark in one or two subjects in the board exams registered themselves for the compartment exam without having to repeat another year. Taking a look at the previous records, CBSE generally announces the results for the same in the month of August; hence the results are expected soon. Further, it is important for the students to note that the scores published online only serves immediate information. These shall not be treated as original mark sheets as it will be provided by the board separately. Being in the question paper leak controversy, CBSE this year introduced ‘double encrypted’ papers.

During the class 10 compartment exams, the question papers were printed in the schools by the examiner. The exam centres got question papers and passwords just 30 minutes before the exam. Students placed on the compartment list were only allowed to participate in class 10 and class 12 exams. On the other hand, the board announced the class 10 board results on May 29 which saw a pass percentage of 86.7% and in class 12 about 83.01% students passed, the results of which were declared on May 26.
