How To Check Result
To access their results, candidates will need to enter their roll number, date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format, and the security pin displayed on the screen. Steps To Download CBSE Class 12 Compartment Result 2026
Candidates can follow these steps to download their scorecards:
- Visit the official CBSE result website, cbseresults.nic.in.
- Click on "Senior School Certificate Supplementary Examination (Class XII) Result 2026."
- Enter the required login credentials.
- Submit the details.
- The CBSE Class 12 compartment result will appear on the screen.
- Download and print the scorecard for future reference.
About The Examination
The CBSE Class 12 compartment examination for the Science, Commerce and Arts streams was conducted on July 28. The practical examinations were scheduled from July 29 to August 4, with schools directed to upload practical marks on the board's portal on the same day as the examination. Provisional Scorecard, Original Marksheet Later
The scorecard available online is provisional. Students will have to collect their original marksheets and passing certificates from their respective schools later. Private candidates can also access their results through the official CBSE result portal, and students can additionally access their digital marksheets through DigiLocker.
Why CBSE Conducts Compartment Exams
CBSE conducts the supplementary or compartment examination every year for students who are unable to clear one or more subjects in the annual board examination. Students who successfully clear the compartment examination can proceed with higher education admissions, subject to the admission requirements of the respective institution.
Earlier Re-Evaluation Results
Earlier, CBSE had declared the Class 12 re-evaluation results on June 21. Candidates who had applied for re-evaluation or verification of their Class 12 answer sheets were able to access the results through DigiLocker's official results portal.
