The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has officially declared the SSLC Result 2026 for Class 10 students today at 11 am. Students can check their results online at mbose.in, along with other official portals including mboseresults.in and megresults.nic.in. This year, 48,623 students appeared for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate examination, out of which 42,228 successfully passed, taking the overall pass percentage to an impressive 86.84%. The results bring relief and excitement after weeks of anticipation following exams held between January 30 and February 11, 2026.
The board has also released the list of toppers, with Wangaal Lama securing the first position with 585 marks. Vishal Kumar followed in second place with 576 marks, while Prajukta Roy secured the third rank with 575 marks. MBOSE has published a detailed merit list highlighting top-performing students across the state. Compared to previous years, the pass percentage remains strong, slightly lower than 2025’s peak of 87.10% but significantly higher than earlier years such as 2024 (55.80%) and 2023 (51.93%), indicating consistent academic improvement. Students should note that results are available only online and will not be displayed at board offices in Shillong or Tura. The online marksheet will include essential details such as personal information, subject-wise marks, total score, grades, and pass or fail status.
