Server Malfunction Causes Disruption
ACP Lalit Sharma said the authorities received information that the server at the centre was not functioning properly, resulting in some candidates' computers opening while others did not, news agency PTI reported. Authorities Step In To Control Situation
Police and administrative officials reached the centre and began speaking to the candidates to bring the situation under control. "We are discussing the matter with them and trying to counsel them," Sharma said. NEET PG 2026 Admit Card Out: Over 2.73 Lakh Candidates Can Download Hall Ticket.
He added that talks were also being held at a higher level with the organising agency to find a "logical and meaningful solution" to the issue, PTI reported.
Exam Held Nationwide In Single Shift
The NEET-PG examination was conducted across the country on Sunday in a single shift. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) had made arrangements for the examination to be held at centres across the country, with authorities putting security and surveillance measures in place.
The examination was scheduled from 9 am to 12.30 pm, with candidates appearing for the computer-based test at designated centres.
The Jaipur disruption comes as candidates had already been advised to follow examination-centre protocols and immediately report any technical problems to invigilators. Further details on the action being considered for affected candidates are awaited.
