The candidates of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Group C must note that tomorrow is the last date for filling up preferences and updating the required qualifications. According to the notification published on the official website of RRB; rrbcdg.gov.in, the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Technician candidates were given one final opportunity to update the preference details; the window of which was opened from September 22. The notice further clarified, the last date for the submission stands October 21, which is tomorrow. Earlier, the last date for post preference, exam trade and bank details were October 6. However, after receiving representations from candidates for one last chance, the conducting body extended the date till October 21. It must be noted that this is the final opportunity and candidates who have not filled and submitted the required preferences, would not be selected for RRB results and subsequent second stage CBT. Indian Railways further noted, “The candidates, who have already completed the RRB selection, post preferences, exam trade and bank account details and do not wish to furnish any additional qualifications or modify other details, need not do anything and their submitted details shall remain valid.”

Before beginning with the process, the candidates are recommended to follow the detail instructions as given on the website and update accordingly. They will have to log in with correct credentials; which is the registration number and date of birth. Meanwhile, the Group C, ALP and Technician exam results are rumoured to be announced in the coming month. But there is no official confirmation. The candidates are henceforth advised to keep an eye on the site for regular updates.
