Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) declared the results of Group 4 and Village Administrative Officer (VAO) written examination about a week ago on the official website; tnpsc.gov.in. The candidates who have qualified the exams will be able to upload their certificates for verification from August 30. TNPSC further informed that the candidates would be called in 1:3 ratio for certificate verification. The last date to publish the documents for Group IV services is September 18. According to reports, about 17.53 lakh aspirants appeared in the Group 4 exam out of which 14 lakhs successfully surpassed the exam. Tamil Nadu Declared Group 4 Results, Check Scores Online. 

In TNPSC, there are 11,280 vacancies for VAO, junior assistant and typist positions. The qualified candidates need to verify their admit card, proof of nationality, voter’s id card, Aadhaar card, a copy of online application form, class 10 and 12 mark sheets and health certificate at the time of online document verification process. The exam for recruitment in VAO posts of 9,351 vacancies was held in February this year. “After verification of the original certificates, the eligible candidates will be summoned for counselling to allot the post and Unit/Department in the order of rank and category to which they are eligible as per the vacancy position,” reads the official notification on the website.

The candidates must submit the documents on time. Failure to do the same within the stipulated time limit will involve a rejection of applications. The Public Service Commission was established in the year 1923 by the British government, and the mission is to review the salary structure of the Indian Civil Service. TNPSC is monitored by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulation 1954.
