Jammu, April 5: A group of suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists barged into a house of a man in Hajin area of Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district on Thursday. According to a tweet by ANI, the terrorists fired gunshots and abducted a man and his son in Hajin, 30 km from Srinagar in the early morning hours on Thursday. The father escaped and was admitted to hospital while the son is still missing.
As per reports by PTI, the terrorists barged into the residence of Abdul Gaffar Bhat at around 11:45 pm on Wednesday and fired a slew of gunshots at him. They then thrashed him and abducted him along with his son Manzoor Bhat. Reports inform that while Abdul Gaffar managed to flee away after being fired upon and sustaining injuries, his son is still in terrorists' captive.

The father has been admitted to a nearby hospital where he is being treated. A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and a massive manhunt to trace the abducted person has been launched.
On Tuesday, in a similar incident, four militants of the Lashkar-e-Taiba barged into the house of Farooq Ahmad Parrey at 10:10 p.m in Hajin. Earlier this week, security forces gunned down 13 terrorists in Kashmir in a single day in Anantnag and Shopian districts of Jammu & Kashmir.
The encounter claimed the lives of three Army jawans and four civilians. The militants who were killed included those responsible for the brutal killing of Lieutenant Umar Fayaz.
