Protest Linked to Sonam Wangchuk's Hospitalisation
The ink-throwing incident comes amid heightened tensions over the ongoing protest led by Sonam Wangchuk. The climate activist was shifted to Safdarjung Hospital after more than 20 days of an indefinite hunger strike, with doctors stating that he is stable but physically weak and requires continuous medical monitoring.
Following Wangchuk's hospitalisation, Dipke announced that he would begin an indefinite hunger strike in solidarity with the activist and continue the agitation.
