A video going viral on social media shows a woman named Shilpi Jain talking about the Air India incident involving flight AI2379 from Phuket to Delhi. In a video shared on Instagram, Jain claimed that Air India asked them not to make a video about the incident. She said that she was also onboard the Air India flight that encountered turbulence. The video also shows Shipi Jain praising the crew members of Air India flight AI2379 for supporting the passengers.

However, Jain alleged that the crew members asked the passengers not to make a video of the incident and share it on social media. She further said that the crew members told them that sharing videos of the incident would hurt and damage their reputation. "Flight was about to crash and they were worried about their reputation," Jain stated. In the video, Shilpi Jain said that as soon as they landed in Delhi, there was no medical facility available. She also claimed that she asked for water but was denied. Jain further alleged that injured passengers waited for more than 10 minutes to receive medical assistance. "Air India Incident 🥺 Near Death Experience," Jain's post on Instagram read. Jain's video comes after the Air India flight operating from Phuket, Thailand, to New Delhi encountered turbulence earlier today, August 4, resulting in a brief change in altitude.

According to news agency ANI, the aircraft landed safely at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, and all passengers and crew members disembarked. In a statement, Air India said flight AI2379 experienced a "brief in-flight turbulence-related event" during the cruise, resulting in a momentary change in altitude. "There have been no serious injuries as of now. Meanwhile, visuals from the airport showed ambulances stationed outside the terminal, while some passengers were seen being assisted in wheelchairs and others with bandages before being taken for medical evaluation. A passenger travelling on the flight told the news agency that the turbulence was sudden and that several people were injured during the incident. The passenger claimed that some travellers suffered injuries to their heads and backs, while others required medical attention. Air India said it was providing all necessary support to the affected passengers and was cooperating with relevant authorities as part of the investigation.
