Baba Ramdev Sends Gift, Sweets to Kangana Ranaut in Bid to End Week-Long Feud (Video)

In an attempt to de-escalate a week-long verbal feud, yoga guru Baba Ramdev announced on Friday that he is sending a gift and sweets to actor-turned-BJP Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut. Speaking to reporters in Haridwar, the Patanjali founder emphasized the need to remove hostility from public discourse and stated that he intends to speak directly with the lawmaker to resolve their differences through dialogue.

The gesture follows a sharp public exchange between the two prominent figures. Addressing media personnel, Ramdev stated that he is dispatching the sweets via post, reiterating that there should be no room for hatred or personal animosity in the country. He noted that any ongoing disputes ought to be addressed through direct communication rather than continuous public confrontation. "There should be no hatred in the country for any reason, and there should be no hostility towards one another," Ramdev said. "That is why we have completely given up all animosity. Any dispute should be resolved through dialogue."

The friction between Ramdev and Ranaut began earlier this month following controversial remarks made by the Mandi MP regarding youth protesters demonstration over the NEET paper leak issue. Ranaut had criticized a section of student demonstrators, labeling them "Generation Gutter".

The dispute quickly turned personal when Ranaut issued a strong response on social media. Rebutting his comments, the actor-politician advised Ramdev against lecturing her on character and brought up past legal proceedings involving Patanjali Ayurved. Ranaut pointed out that, unlike Ramdev’s firm, she had never been reprimanded by the Supreme Court over misleading advertisements.

Ramdev’s latest peace gesture signals an effort to put an end to the escalating war of words. Ranaut has not yet issued a public response to the outreach.
