Mumbai, September 17: The accused in the Badlapur sexual assault case is facing a new accusation of having 'unnatural sex'. He is already facing charges of molesting a four-year-old girl at a school in Badlapur, Thane district. The Boisar police initially filed a case under Section 377 (unnatural sex) of the Indian Penal Code but later transferred the case to the Badlapur (East) police station.
A 21-year-old woman, who is the second wife of the accused, lodged a complaint with the Boisar police. She married him four years ago and lived with him and his family in Badlapur. The woman accused him of forcing her into "unnatural sex." After notifying her family about his actions, she decided to leave him and reported the abuse to the police. Reportedly, the accused is married thrice, as mentioned in a report by the Free Press Journal. Senior Inspector Shirish Pawar of Boisar Police Station stated, “The victim, accompanied by a social worker, came to the station to file a report against her ex-husband for engaging in unnatural sex. Inspector Sanjay Shinde from the Thane Police Crime Branch, which is currently handling the investigation, confirmed that the case of "unnatural sex" was officially filed at Boisar Police Station on September 4. Earlier, the first wife of the accused described him as a sexual pervert, offering critical insights into his character. The police have officially documented her statement as part of the ongoing investigation.
