As per latest reports, authorities rushed five fire tenders to the spot and the fire has been now doused. The fire was reported at the electricity meter of the building and soon the raging flames spread across the parking lot.

Most of the people were sleeping when the incident took place, some tried to jump off from their balconies to escape the fire. The Fire department had to face a lot of challenges in dousing the fire because the lane in which the building is situated is extremely narrow, making it difficult for the rescue operation to take place properly.
