According to police sources, the incident occurred at the school on August 27. The girl's mother, Anjali, stated that school authorities contacted her when her daughter’s physical condition began deteriorating on campus. Upon reaching the school premises, the mother found her child standing outside in the sun in critical distress. Family members alleged that a teacher had forced the girl to stand outdoors as punishment for forgetting her book. She was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, where she later succumbed. Following the student's death, angry family members and local residents gathered outside the school grounds to protest, demanding immediate accountability and strict action against the responsible staff members.
