Shimla, February 5: A low-intensity earthquake hit Himachal Pradesh's Mandi district on Tuesday. According to initial reports, an earthquake of magnitude 3.8 struck Mandi district at 7:33 pm. There were no immediate reports of damage and casualties.

Most parts of Himachal fall in high seismic sensitive zone. A moderate intensity earthquake was felt in Himachal Pradesh’s Sirmaur district in September last year. No loss of life or property was reported.
