Hyderabad, August 31: In an exemplary act of public service , a Hyderabad traffic police inspector carried a man with a plastered foot on his back through a waterlogged road. The incident took place on Friday at LN Nagar area of the city. The video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. The traffic police inspector, A Nagamallu carried the old man on his back for 50 metres.  He is earning praise on social media. Waterlogging occurred as a manhole got blocked with garbage. When their vehicle got stuck in the waterlogged road, the inspector immediately rushed to help the old man. He made sure that the man should not get into water. Nagamallu told the media house that the old man looked ill, and it was his responsibility to help him.

Meanwhile, heavy rains continued to lash Hyderabad. According to Skymetweather, the city has received eight mm of moderate rains. The weather agency also predict light to moderate rain in the next 48 hours
