Indian Railways Revises Timings for Varanasi-Ranchi and Varanasi-Deoghar Vande Bharat Trains

Indian Railways has announced a schedule revision for two major Vande Bharat Express trains originating from Varanasi, with the updated timings set to take effect on September 2. The modifications apply to services connecting Varanasi to Ranchi and Deoghar. Under the revised timetable, both trains will depart 10 minutes earlier than their current schedules from the originating station, while timings at all subsequent stops along the routes remain unchanged.

Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express

  • New Departure Time: 3:55 PM (15:55 hours)
  • Previous Departure Time: 4:05 PM (16:05 hours)

Operated and maintained by the South Eastern Railway zone, the service runs every day except Tuesday. It covers a distance of 536 kilometers in approximately 7 hours and 50 minutes, stopping at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Sasaram, Gaya, Koderma, Hazaribagh Road, Parasnath, Bokaro Steel City, and Muri. Timings across all these transit stations will stay exactly the same.

Varanasi-Deoghar Vande Bharat Express

The Northern Railway has similarly updated the schedule for the Varanasi-Deoghar Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 22500).

  • New Departure Time: 6:10 AM (06:10 hours)
  • Previous Departure Time: 6:20 AM (06:20 hours)

The train will leave Varanasi 10 minutes ahead of its previous departure slot.
