Jammu, July 7: At least three civilians have lost their lives allegedly after a clash broke out between protesters and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district on Saturday. As per reports, the clash took place in Hawoora Mishipora village in Qoimoh area of Kulgam in south Kashmir.

As per details by Police, the three civilians were killed in a firing by security forces during clashes with stone-pelting protesters in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Reports inform that following the clash, mobile internet services were suspended in four south Kashmir districts - Kulgam, Shopian, Anantnag and Pulwama.

Meanwhile, authorities in the Valley have imposed restrictions in several parts of Kashmir as “a precautionary measure to maintain law and order” on the eve of the second death anniversary of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani. According to a report by PTI, restrictions have been imposed in Tral township, in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, and in the Nowhatta and Maisuma police station areas of Srinagar the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, a police official said.
