Srinagar, January 6: Amid the ongoing clampdown on internet in Kashmir Valley, the administration has decided to uplift the curb in parts of Awantipora district to allow students to fill National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 online forms. The move will aid scores of medical education aspirants in the region, who were forced to move to the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) in Srinagar -- the only location in the erstwhile J&K state capital where internet could be accessed.
"Internet facility has been provided to students for filling NEET 2020 forms," the District Police of Awantipora said in a statement issued on Monday. The announcement also comes nearly a week after the J&K administration announced that government hospitals would be allowed to use broadband internet.
