Jharkhand: 11 Dead, 39 Injured After Bus Falls Into Gorge in Garhwa

Ranchi, June 25: In a tragic incident, at least six people were killed and 39 others were injured after a bus fell into a gorge in Jharkhand’s Garhwa on Tuesday. After bus fell in the gorge, locals immediately rushed to the spot. Meanwhile, authorities have also reached the spot and rescue operations are underway. Jharkhand: Kabbadi Player Vikesh Kumar Rawat Killed in a Road Accident in Deoghar District.

The bus was on its way to Garhwa from Chhattisgarh. According to reports, the vehicle crashed into the wall guard, following which it fell into the deep gorge. The exact cause of the accident is still not known. More details are awaited.

Meanwhile earlier this month, a Patna-bound bus travelling on NH-2 in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand had rammed into an iron-laden stationary trailer.  Around 11 people including three women and a child were killed in the accident. Meanwhile, 22 others were also injured.
