Bhopal, November 24: Kailash Chandra Joshi, the senior BJP leader and former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, died here in Bhopal on Sunday, November 24, 2019. Kailash Joshi was the first non-Congress chief minister of Madhya Pradesh.
Joshi was born on July 14, 1929 and joined politics at an young age. Joshi was oen of the leading leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh. In the year 1977 he was sworn in as the Janata Party chief minister in Madhya Pradesh.

Kailash Chandra Joshi represented Bhopal twice. He was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) from Bhopal for two terms.
Kailash Chandra Joshi breathed his last at a private hospital today, on Sunday. He was 90 years old and is survived by his son and family. Many BJP leaders in Madhya Pradesh remembered the departed leader.
