The victim has been identified as Sneha, 25, a resident of RH Camp-4. When local villagers discovered her lying in the agricultural field, her young daughter was seen helplessly clutching onto her mother and crying, NDTV reported. According to police officials, Sneha was still breathing when emergency responders reached the spot, but she succumbed to her critical injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital. Woman Beaten to Death With Stone in Karnataka
Upon receiving information regarding the crime, the Sindhanur Rural Police rushed to the location and initiated a detailed forensic and technical investigation.
Investigating officers have taken two primary suspects into custody for interrogation: the victim's husband, Amit, and her alleged lover, Shubham. Law enforcement authorities are questioning both individuals to ascertain who carried out the assault and determine the underlying motive behind the killing. According to preliminary police findings, Sneha had been married to Amit for four years. However, investigators noted that she had allegedly entered into an extramarital relationship with Shubham over the past four months.
Officers are probing whether marital discord or relationship tensions triggered the fatal attack. The woman's body has been shifted to the Sindhanur Taluk Hospital for a post-mortem examination as the investigation continues.
