Kolkata, January 3: In a shocking incident, a decomposed body of an 85-year-old man was found at his residence in Behala's Parnashree. The youngest son of the deceased Rabindranath Ghosh who is mentally unsound has been missing. On Thursday, at around 11 am, Ghosh's eldest son Ashok found his father was lying dead on the floor. Police are trying to find the deceased's youngest son, according to a Times of India report.

When Ashok had reached his father's place on Thursday, he was shocked to find his father lying on the floor, the door of their house was open and his younger brother was also missing. Reportedly, he had the habit of leaving home but used to return within a few days.  Doctors have reportedly found that Ghosh was suffering from acute TB from the autopsy report. In another similar case from the city, a woman hit her mother on the head with a screwdriver, following an argument with her. The incident took place when the woman's father was not at home. The woman admitted to committing the crime and on the other hand, the condition of her mother remained critical.
