Investigation Underway

Investigators are examining multiple aspects of the accident, including whether the occupants were unable to escape because the vehicle doors remained locked after entering the water or due to pressure from the rising water. Authorities are also looking into the vehicle's speed, road conditions and any possible mechanical failure.

Police have registered a case, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination. Officials said the exact cause of the accident will be determined after a detailed technical inspection of the vehicle and completion of the investigation.

Road Safety Concerns

The incident adds to a series of fatal road accidents reported across the country in recent months, underscoring concerns over speeding, driver control and road safety. Authorities have appealed to motorists to adhere to speed limits and exercise caution, particularly on roads located near water bodies and other hazardous stretches. Police said further details will emerge as the investigation progresses.
