Mumbai, February 2: Local train services on Western line will be affected due to the demolition of the Delisle Bridge in Mumbai starting Saturday night. During the demolition of the Delisle Bridge that is expected to continue for 11 hours, local trains will be terminated at Dadar. During the major block that might continue till 10 am on Sunday (February 3), no fast local train between Dadar and Churchgate, and no slow local train between Bandra and Churchgate will run.

More than 200 trains will be cancelled during the demolition of the Delisle Bridge followed by the mega block. Many long-distance trains will be terminated at Dadar instead of at the Mumbai Central railway station. The Western Railway has tweeted details of trains that will be cancelled or rescheduled. While officials aim to complete the demolition within 11 hours, the major block is likely to start from 10 pm and last till 10 am. Man Held for Groping Girl While Boarding Local Train.

During the major block, all fast local trains will run between Dadar and Virar/Dahanu Road station, Besides, all slow trains will run between Bandra and Borivali/Bhayandar/Virar only. Hence, there will be no fast local trains between Churchgate and Dadar stations and no slow line services between Churchgate and Bandra stations. Below is the list of last trains leaving from Churchgate, Borivali and Virar on Saturday night:

  • The last slow local train from Churchgate in down direction train no Borivali 91175 will depart from Churchgate at 9:39 pm and will arrive at Borivali at 10:46 pm.
  • The last fast local train from Churchgate in down direction train no Virar 91179 will depart from Churchgate at 9:44 pm and arrive at Virar at 11:10 pm.
  • The last slow local train in up direction will be the train no Borivali 91102 which will depart from Borivali at 8:56 pm and arrive at Churchgate at 10:03 pm.
  • The last fast local train in up direction will be the train no Virar 91116 which will depart from Virar at 8:35 pm and arrive at Churchgate at 9:57 pm.
