With just a few days left for the 17th Lok Sabha Elections, various campaigns and programmes have been launched to raise awareness about the importance of voting. In the post titled, "Voting Is Where You Claim Your Stake In Democracy, Calling all first-time voters, doesn't matter how old you are; If you are eligible, stand up and get counted. Go Vote !! Because #ItMatters," PIB posted "Beta tumse ho jayega, vote dene ka mann banaye ho, fir to lachhan theek hain tumhare (Son you can do, if you are thinking of casting their there is no problem with you)."

The citizen engagement platform of Government of India, MyGovIndia twitter handle, also tried to encourage voters through funny memes based on films. MyGovIndia posted a meme based on Bollywood movie Mr India and fantasy series Harry PotterWhat Is EVM and How Does It Work? All FAQs Answered on Electronic Voting Machine Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections 2019.

MyGovIndia posted a meme on Mr India titled as Mr Voter with a caption "Arre Karte Hai Hum Pyaar Apne India se. Be Mr and Ms Voter, Vote for your Country!"

In another tweet, a meme on Harry Potter titled as "Happy Voter and the Festival of Indian Democracy."

Reacting to this tweet, a netizen Kamal Joshi tweeted, "The election is your chance to choose who will represent you on Lok Sabha for the next 4 years. Please get involved and vote this elections season. #LokSabhaElections2019."

Another said, "It's prime responsibility of every citizen to participate in this Noble cause of voting and knowing our right to vote."

Gangs of Wasseypur is a two-part crime film featuring Manoj Bajpai, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Richa Chadda, Huma Qureshi and Tigmanshu Dhulia in the lead roles. The film is produced, directed and written by Anurag Kashyap.
