Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to meet Jonathan, the world's oldest living land animal, during his upcoming visit to Seychelles. He is scheduled to visit the Seychelles National Botanical Gardens, where he will also plant a tree.

The visit coincides with commemorations marking the 50th year of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Seychelles. PM Modi has been invited as the Guest of Honour at Seychelles' National Day celebration and will hold talks with the country's leadership.
