Raipur, July 31: President Ram Nath Kovind's visit to the state of Chhattisgarh has brought to light a story of courage, determination and resilience. Sandhya Netam, a class 8th student of Aastha Vidya Mandir in Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Education City premises in Jawanga, Dantewada district, who lost her father to Naxals, will always remember President Ram Nath Kovind's visit to her school. The reason being: she taught  Science to India's President.

According to news agency ANI, the President became a student to class 8 student Sandhya Netam and learnt lessons in Science from Sandhya. "It was a great experience. I aspire to be a doctor," said Sandhya, when asked about the experience of teaching the President of India. Read the ANI tweet below to see the pictures of Sandhya with her family:

"It was an honour for us when the President visited our school. Sandhya is a brilliant student. She taught Science to the President for 3 minutes. Although she lost her father to Naxals at a very young age she continues to excel in studies", said S Pradhan to news agency ANI, Principal of Aastha Vidya Mandir, on Sandhya's achievements.

President Kovind had arrived in Chattisgarh's Bastar district on a two-day visit to the region and was part of several programmes. He also interacted with students at Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram in Heeranagar and had lunch with the students. President Kovind also inaugurated YUVA BPO centre in the education city campus and interacted with the employees there. The President also dedicated  the Jagdalpur Medical College Hospital to the nation on July 26 and addressed a public gathering.
