Hyderabad, May 6: In a major loss, nearly 50 government ambulances, mostly old and condemned, parked in an open space were gutted after fire broke out at GVK-EMRI parking lot in near Shamirpet area of Telangana's capital city, Hyderabad. According to reports, the incident took place around 1 pm on Monday. "At 1 pm today, we received an information about fire at GVK EMRI parking lot. Around 50 govt ambulance vehicles which were not in use were gutted in the fire. No casualties were reported in the incident. Probe is underway," said Subhash Reddy, SFO, Jeedimetla fire station, was quoted saying by news agency ANICigarette Shop Set On Fire by Drunken Man In Gurugram After He Was Asked To Pay Dues.

The cause of the blaze is not yet known. A probe is underway, the police said. Two fire tenders were rushed to the spot to bring the flames under control.
