Thane Man Booked for Blackmailing Minor, Leaking Explicit Video Call Screenshots on Instagram
A 23-year-old Thane man has been booked for allegedly blackmailing a 16-year-old girl, taking explicit screenshots of her during a video call without her consent and later sharing them on social media after she rejected his marriage proposal, police said on Saturday.

The accused, identified as Jalaluddin Khan, alias Saeed, allegedly contacted the minor about two years ago through phone calls and later pressured her into a relationship, an official from Shil Daighar police station said to PTI.
Screenshots Taken During Video Call
According to police, around eight to 10 days ago, Khan allegedly coerced the girl into disrobing during a WhatsApp video call and captured screenshots without her consent.┬аBuxar School Viral Video: 2 Teachers Suspended Over Rape and Blackmail Allegations After Obscene Clip Surfaces.
Police said Khan subsequently proposed marriage to the girl. After she rejected the proposal, he allegedly uploaded the screenshots to his Instagram account on September 2.
Police Investigation Underway

Police are investigating the alleged video call, the social media posts and Khan's interactions with the girl over the past two years.
