Vellore, January 10: Ajith Kumar who command a massive fan following has released his movie Viswasam on Thursday and it is enjoyed by several fans but the release of the movie has also led to several mishaps. A 20-year-boy, a die-hard fan of Thala Ajith from Tamil Nadu's Katpadi village, set his father on fire after the latter refused to give him money for watching ViswasamViswasam Movie Review: Ajith Kumar And Nayanthara's Mawkish Family Drama Can Only Be Handled Once.

According to reports, the guy who is also named as Ajith Kumar demanded money from his father, Pandiyan, 45, to watch the movie on the first day. But Pandiyan refused to give him money. Irked over this, the boy brought kerosene and set his father on fire. Earlier in a similar incident, five fans of Ajith were severly injured after a cutout of Ajithkumar fell at a theatre in Thirukovilur, Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu. According to the information, the incident occured when some fans clambered on a massive cutout of Ajith to do 'paal abhishekam' (pouring of milk).

Meanwhile, Ajith starrer- Viswasam clashed today with Petta starring Rajinikanth. This movie marks Ajith's fourth collaboration with director Siva. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Anikha, Jagapathi Babu, Vivek and Yogi Babu in the supporting roles.
