IndiGo has announced a special promotional campaign to mark its 20th anniversary, giving 20,000 customers a chance to receive their domestic flight tickets free of cost. Under the airline's "Happy IndiGo Day" campaign, branded as "IndiGoFree," eligible customers who book domestic flights during the offer period can receive a refund of up to INR 10,000 per passenger name record (PNR).
The offer is available for bookings made between August 4 and August 6 through IndiGo's official booking platforms. Customers do not need to register separately, as all eligible bookings will automatically be entered into a random selection process. Why Is IndiGo Giving 20,000 Free Domestic Tickets?
The airline launched the campaign to celebrate 20 years of operations. As part of the anniversary celebrations, IndiGo will refund the airfare for 20,000 randomly selected domestic bookings, subject to a maximum refund of INR 10,000 per PNR.

Who Can Avail the Offer?
The offer is open to customers who:
- Book domestic flights between August 4 and August 6.
- Make reservations through:
- IndiGo's official website.
- The IndiGo mobile application.
- The airline's AI-powered virtual assistant, 6Eskai.
- Book Economy Class or IndiGoStretch tickets.
- Purchase either one-way or return domestic journeys.
Bookings made outside the specified period or through other channels are not eligible.
How Will Customers Get Free Tickets?
Eligible customers are automatically entered into the selection process. IndiGo said 20,000 bookings will be chosen at random. Selected customers will receive an email and WhatsApp message asking them to answer a simple question. They will have three attempts to answer correctly.
How Will the Refund Be Processed?
Customers who answer the question correctly will receive a refund of their booking fare, subject to a maximum of INR 10,000 per PNR. According to IndiGo, refunds will be credited within three to five business days.
