Bihar, November 12: Aishwarya Rai, wife of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and former Health Minister of Bihar, Tej Pratap Yadav, will reportedly visit Mathura-Vrindavan ahead of the Chhath Puja in order to convince Tej Pratap to withdraw the divorce plea filed by him in Patna court. Tej Pratap, who is away from home ever since he filed for divorce against wife Aishwarya Rai, has refused to return home until he finds support from his family members on divorcing Tej Pratap Yadav. Tej Pratap Yadav-Aishwarya Rai Divorce: 11-Day Puja Held at Mirzapur Temple to Settle Marital Dispute.

On Sunday, news of elder son of RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and former health minister of Bihar, Tej Pratap Yadav, visiting Vrindavan was reported by media outlets. The controversial RJD leader, who was asked for a comment by the media, told the reporters that "I want to live my life peacefully. I am in search of peace. Please do not disturb me unnecessarily." Reports said that Tej Pratap visited Vrindavan and spent time with his friends. He also participated in a boat ride at Vrindavan's Keshi ghat and was present in Vrindavan for almost an hour.

Earlier, reports of RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's wife Rabri Devi deciding not to observe the Chhath festival this year added to the news of trouble in the politically prominent Yadav family of Bihar. This would be the first time in many years that the festival will not be celebrated at Lalu Prasad Yadav's house in Patna. Chhath celebrations at Lalu Prasad Yadav's house are one of the highlights of the festival in Bihar.
