Lok Sabha Elections 2019: The results of polls in the Gurgaon Lok Sabha Constituency were declared today. The counting of votes began on the Parliamentary seat in Haryana at 8 am on Thursday, May 23. Rao Inderjit Singh of the BJP won the seat. Voting took place for the Gurgaon seat in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 on May 12.

Candidates on the Gurgaon Parliamentary seat include Captain Ajay Singh of the Congress, Rao Inderjit Singh of the BJP and Virendar Rana of the INLD among others. The last date for filing nomination from the Gurgaon seat for Lok Sabha polls 2019 was April 23. The last date for withdrawal of nomination was April 26. Inderjit Singh Rao of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had won the Lok Sabha Election 2014 from the Gurgaon seat. He was earlier with the Congress. In 2014, Rao defeated Zakir Hussain of the INLD and is the sitting MP from Gurgaon in Haryana.

The 2019 Lok Sabha Elections will take place across India between April 11 and May 23. While voting will take place for 543 Lok Sabha seats in seven phases between April 11 and May 19, the counting of votes will take place on May 23.
