Kolkata, May 28: With unexpected Lok Sabha poll outcome in West Bengal and disappointment looming large within the party, anguished Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee is all set to reshuffle the state cabinet. Reports state that around 8-10 ministers are going to face the ire of 'Didi' and would either be demoted or even lose their post.

Among the prime individuals who are on the brink of losing their include Panchayat and Water Resources Development Minister Subroto Mukherjee, Labour minister Moloy Ghatak, Education Minister Parth Chatterjee, Panchayat and Village Development Minister Shymal Santra, and others. Along with this, state Tourism Minister Gautam Dev, North Bengal Development Minister Rabindra Nath Ghosh and another minister Tapan Dasgupta are on the probable list of the reshuffle. The revised list has already been sent by Nabanna (state secretariat) and is waiting for Governor Kashinath Tripathi, who is currently in Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh.

It is to be known that TMC managed to win only 22 seats in Lok Sabha Elections, losing 12 seats than the previous tenure. On the other hand, BJP gained 16 seats and reach a tally of 18 seats. With this, fringe in the party arrived as BJP leader Mukul Roy’s son and suspended TMC legislator Subhrangshu Roy, along with 16 TMC Councillors of the Kanchrapara Municipality joined BJP today.
