Karachi, April 7: With the tension between India and Pakistan had appeared to ease, the latter's Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has ignited the fire again on Sunday claiming that Pakistan has "reliable intelligence" that India will attack again this month. Qureshi even added that the attack could take place between April 16 and 20.

As the news spread like wildfire, Pakistan had told the five permanent members of the UN Security Council of its concerns. However, India's Ministry of External Affairs reacted and stated, "India rejects irresponsible statement by Pak Foreign Min with objective of whipping up war hysteria in the region. This public gimmick appears to be a call to Pak-based terrorists to undertake terror attack in India."

Adding more, MEA said, "MEA in response to queries on the statement by Pak Foreign Min: Pak has been advised to use established diplomatic&DGMO channels to share actionable&credible intelligence it has about terror attacks. India reserves the right to respond firmly and decisively to cross border terrorist attack." Here's the Tweet:

Addressing a press conference in Multan, Qureshi said, as Reuter reports, "We have reliable intelligence that India is planning a new attack on Pakistan. As per our information, this could take place between April 16 and 20." Though the Pakistan Minister didn't elaborate on what pieces of evidence' basis he is making the claim, but said the PM Imran Khan had agreed to share the information with the country.

It is to be known that after the Air Strike, Pakistan had closed its airspace amid the stand-off. Also, Pakistan had said on Friday that it would release 360 Indian prisoners this month as a sign of apparently easing tensions. Considerably, the first hundred were released on Sunday.
