Lucknow, October 15: Uttar Pradesh Minister OP Rajbhar has trained guns at his own government for allotting Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati’s bungalow to former Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Yadav. Speaking to news agency ANI, Rajbhar said, “Allotting bungalow and giving Z+ security to Shivpal Yadav clearly gives the message that he is being given protection by BJP and has started working for BJP.”

On October 12, The Yogi Adityanath government allotted the government bungalow to Yadav. The bungalow was allotted to the Samajwadi Secular Morcha founder after a Supreme Court directive. Yadav while speaking to PTI said that he had been allotted the bungalow as there were intelligence reports of threats to him. Yadav said that he had applied for a government bungalow, and the one at 6, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg was allotted to him. Is Shivpal Yadav BJP's Weapon Against Akhilesh Yadav-Mayawati Combine?

Meanwhile, the Congress also attacked the Yogi government of favouring Yadav. Mayawati vacated the bungalow after the Supreme Court struck down on May 7 an amendment to the Uttar Pradesh Ministers (Salaries, Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act that allowed former chief ministers to retain their government accommodation when their term ended. After this, former CM's including Mayawati, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav, Narain Dutt Tiwari, and Rajnath Singh vacates their bungalows in the state capital.
