At least eight people have died after a powerful storm swept through Kentucky, resulting in flooding that inundated roads and homes, Governor Andy Beshear announced on Sunday. An official said one person died in Georgia, CNN reported.Beshear said emergency responders are in search and rescue phase and have conducted more than 1000 rescues in over 24 hours.
