Contrary to the US-Tibet Policy which states that the reincarnation of the Dalai Lama is solely in the hands of the Tibetans, China has come up with various plans, ploys and tactics to claim that Beijing is the one which has the sole authority to choose the next incarnation of the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso.
