Indian equity benchmarks opened lower on Thursday, tracking mixed cues from global markets amid renewed uncertainty around the fragile US-Iran ceasefire. The BSE Sensex stood at 77,154.49 points at 9:17 am, marking a decline of 408.41 points or 0.53 per cent.
