Director Siddharth P Malhotra is thrilled with the success of 'Maharaj'. He revealed his initial dream casting for the villain, Jadunath Maharaj, was the late Irrfan Khan. However, Jaideep Ahlawat ultimately landed the role after much persuasion. Malhotra praised Ahlawat's performance, even using VFX to adjust his appearance for a specific scene.
