Legendary anime director Tsutomu Shibayama, best known for his work in the fan-favourite series 'Doraemon', died on March 6, 2026 at the age of 84 due to cancer. The sad news of his passing was confirmed by Tsutomu's animation studio Ajia-do Animation Works.
