Eid al-Fitr, the festival marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, will be celebrated across India on Saturday, March 21. The announcement was made late Thursday evening by prominent cleric Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali after the crescent moon was not sighted in Lucknow or other parts of the country.
