The centre of the Indian Meteorological Department in Dehradun on Sunday issued an orange alert for heavy rains in some places of Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand on July 20 and 21. On July 22, an orange alert was issued for heavy to very heavy rains in some places in Dehradun and Uttarkashi district of the state.
