Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Tuesday ordered the closure of 717 TASMAC liquor outlets located near schools, colleges, temples, churches, mosques and bus stands across the state, marking one of the first major policy decisions of the newly formed Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) government.
